A journey across Eastern Canada, from Toronto to Newfoundland offers a measured passage through some of the country’s most distinctive landscapes, guided by the presence of the Atlantic Ocean. Days are spent on the road, moving steadily between provinces, with evenings settled in campgrounds overlooking coastlines and open terrain.
In Prince Edward Island, its red shores and coastal formations reveal a distinct geological character. The route continues along the Cabot Trail, where land and sea converge, before crossing by ferry to the island of Newfoundland. At L'Anse aux Meadows, the historic Viking settlement is set at the northernmost edge and offers a rare, uninterrupted setting for exploration and documentation.
